Department of Career Services (DCS) -- Rapid Response



Provides early intervention re-employment services to workers affected by companies’ downsizing plans, to eliminate the need for or shorten the duration of their unemployment.

Dept. of Unemployment Assistance Unemployment Insurance Program



Oversees the unemployment insurance (UI) program, which provides temporary income assistance to eligible workers in Massachusetts. DUA also determines and collects employer contributions to the UI program.
