Inclusive Small Business Ownership
We serve and support opportunities for minority, women, and veteran small business owners.
Minority, women and veteran-owned businesses are enabled to compete for public contracts in Massachusetts with this program. This program gives these business owners the opportunity to access credit promptly in order to meet up-front expenses including working capital and the purchase of equipment and supplies for the job.
Available to businesses meeting diversity goals, including minority, women, and veteran-owned
Financing available from $25,000 to $500,000 on a revolving basis
MGCC will advance up to 75% of the contract value to the business
Construction Contract Financing Program (CCFP)
In Partnership with MassHousing
The Construction Contract Financing program helps minority and women owned subcontractors build capacity and strengthen finances to competitively participate in MassHousing-financed construction projects. Funding also includes managerial assistance opportunities as needed.
Available to minority or women owned businesses for work on MassHousing-financed projects only
Loans $25,000 to $200,000
Funds may be used to cover advance labor, materials and other costs
Transformative Development Initiative (TDI)
In Partnership with MassDevelopment
The Transformative Development Initiative was designed to enhance local public-private engagement and community identity; stimulate an improved quality of life for local residents; and spur increased investment and economic activity for select Massachusetts Gateway Cities.
